fluence’d ("the app", "we", "us") is a camera app for posing and framing photos with reusable pose packs. We built it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app accesses, what (if anything) leaves your device, and the choices you have. You never need an account to use the app (an optional account can back up your pose library), we do not sell your data, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
When you create a share link for a pose pack, that pack (its name, pose images, and framing) is uploaded to our server and stored so the link works. Treat a shared pack as public: anyone who has the link can view and install it, links can be forwarded without limit, and once a link has been passed on, copies of the pack may exist beyond your control or ours. Do not share packs containing photos or information you are not comfortable making public.
Share links stay live until revoked. Contact us to request removal of a pack you shared and we will disable its link; already-installed copies on other people's devices are not affected.
You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google to back up your pose library. If you do, we store your pose packs, imported pose cutouts, framing adjustments, and app settings on our server so they can be restored if you reinstall and synced across your devices. We also store the email address your sign-in provider shares (used only to show which account you are signed into) and a random account identifier. Deleting your account in Settings removes the account, every cloud copy of your library, and every pack link you created while signed in (published or not) from our server, and disconnects the app from your Apple or Google sign-in. Packs already installed on other people's devices and content on your own devices are not affected. If an account was banned for breaking our rules, we keep a one-way hash of its Apple or Google sign-in identifier after deletion, only to stop it signing up again; it cannot be turned back into the identifier. If your account is suspended, email us and we will delete it and its data.
If you choose to publish a pack, you pick a public handle, and that handle is shown together with any display name, profile photo, Instagram username, and website link you add. Your profile page at fluence-d.com/u/<handle> and the packs you publish are public: anyone can open them without an account, they are listed in our public pack directory, and search engines can index them. Nothing is published automatically. It happens only when you turn publishing on for a specific pack. You can unpublish a pack or delete your account at any time, which removes the page and the listing; copies already installed or forwarded are not affected.
To keep public pages safe, the names you choose (your handle, display name, profile links, and pack and pose names) are checked against a list of prohibited words when you save or publish them. Images in packs you publish and your profile photo are checked automatically by an AI model that runs on Cloudflare, our hosting provider; a pack whose images fail the check is taken out of our public pack directory, creator pages and homepage. Anyone can report a pack or a creator, in the app or on our website. A reported pack or creator is taken out of our public pack directory, creator pages and homepage while we review it; a direct pack link keeps working until we decide, and we keep the report (the link, the reason given, and when it was made) as long as the review needs it.
Pro is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
Shared packs are kept while their links are live. Anonymous analytics and feedback are kept only as long as they are useful for improving the app and supporting you, and they contain no information that identifies you. Account backups, your creator profile, and published packs are kept until you delete your account, which also takes down every pack link you created while signed in.
fluence’d is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can disable analytics in Settings, delete your optional account (and its cloud backup) in Settings, revoke Camera or Photos permissions in iOS Settings, and contact us about packs you shared or feedback you sent.
